Monday, July 8th, 2013: Arkansas State Board of Education Meeting, 9:00 AM @ the Arkansas Department of Education Auditorium. Live Streaming is available. You can preview the agenda here. Interesting events to watch for include Jacksonville Community Groups’s petition to detach from Pulaski County Special School District and create a new school district, the appeals of parents whose students were denied transfers into Palestine-Wheatley School District under the Public School Choice Act of 2013, and the final approval of rules governing the Public School Choice Act.
