If you haven’t checked it out already, we encourage you to peruse the U.S. News and World Report‘s High School Rankings. This is the fourth edition of the rankings which featured 81 schools from the state of Arkansas. To determine the list, U.S. News first analyzed schools at the state level based on performance on state assessments, while using a methodology that accounts for poverty level. These scores were used to determine whether a high school was eligible to be ranked nationally in terms of college readiness.
U.S. News and World Report used AP scores or the International Baccalaureate programs to determine the extent to which schools prepare their students for college-level work. The complete list of schools that made the list in Arkansas can be found here.
