Using Technology to Increase Student Achievement

In The View from the OEP on March 14, 2012 at 11:46 am

Happy Wednesday to you all! We would like to draw your attention to a conference we are planning in Little Rock at the Clinton Presidential Center on May 17, 2012. We have a few high profile speakers, which we will be highlighting in the weeks ahead. Right now, we would like to highlight the theme of the conference: Using Technology to Increase Student Achievement.

Technology is all the rage right now, but often the focus on technology is exclusively on incorporating technology tools (such as I-Pads and laptops) into instruction. But that is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to integrating technology in the classroom. This conference will highlight the use of technology to develop blended learning models, data-driven instruction, and operational efficiency. We hope you will save the date and join us.
